Moresque Villa

A family owned hotel with wonderful oriental flavor. This used to be the private villa of a magnate Benigno Crespi and was built in 1880 as a homage to the Orient and it is indeed exotic.

The hotel is surrounded by a wonderful, lush 3000mq park shaded by old pine trees and receptions are possible outside under tents, weather permitting. The 2 Michelin starred restaurant and cuisine is renown and receptions here are refined; to match the surroundings.

There are 3 connecting dining salons with a veranda. The maximum capacity is 120 guests. We love the service which is 5 stars and the incredible decor of the rooms with its romantic canopy beds and amazing marble bathrooms (very large!). There are 14 rooms and suites which can host up to 28-30 people.

The Hotel also offers wedding proposals for couples that include massages and candlelight dinners. You may also choose to hold your symbolic ceremony here, in either the park or in one of the beautiful internal salons (these will hold up to 30/40 guests).

Imagine stepping outside into an antique carriage drawn by white horses and driver in full livery! You will be whisked to one of the majestic churches or an elegant villa on the lake for your civil wedding. Lake Orta is one of the finest wedding destinations in Italy!
