Weddings in Lake Orta
A Lake that has inspired artists, poets and writers from all over the world.
The area around Lake Orta is one of our favourite Wedding Destinations, thanks to the quiet beauty of the landscape, its fascinating history and its wealth of artistic treasures - principally Romanesque and Baroque architecture.
Lake Orta lies to the west of Lake Maggiore, in the northern Italy. It is a minor star in the constellation of the sub alpine lakes, but all the fascination and the history of the larger lakes seem to be concentrated in this short space, making Lake Orta a fantastic place to Get Married.
It is a very poetic town, a perfect choice for the couple who loves the lakes but is on the lookout for something more private and reserved when compared to other lake towns. Your guests will all be able to stay on the island, creating a lovely atmosphere for them to walk around on foot to meet in the square for an aperitif or dinner, sampling the local cuisine!
A range of locations, from 5 star hotels to lake front restaurants are on offer for your stunning reception, most with their own docks for your boats arrival! Civil ceremonies in Lake Orta can take place in the stunning Villa over looking the lake, with beautiful gardens and the water as your backdrop.
A truly special location for your Italian destination wedding in the Lakes!
