Ancient and romantic Lake Church
Lovely church on the main square of the town
This lovely parish church has very ancient origins. Located in the city centre of the town it dominates the main square.
The neo-Baroque facade boasts two beautiful statues of Angels and on the left side of the Church you can admire the elegant 18th Century Bell tower.
The church has one nave and 5 chapels on both sides and other 2 chapels on the transects.
Today you can admire artworks of the 17th Century. Quite noteworthy is the one of Saint Ambrogio by Fiammenghino, located in the first chapel on the right side.
The church houses also an original 15th Century statue of Virgin Mary.
History and Romance meet together in this unique catholic church.
