Charming Church on the hilly side of the village
The Church of San Lorenzo is located on top of a hill in Manarola.
Dated back to the 14th Century, the construction started in 1338, as revealed a tombstone engraving, and it was built in Gothic Style.
The Church boasts an amazing rosary window and on the main altar the main feature which represents the triptych: The Virgin Mary with the Child and Saint Lawrence and Saint Catherine.
The building presents 3 naves.
Local artists have been decorated some parts of the Church, both inside and outside.
