The 76 rooms and 22 suites are located in the three adjoining buildings, which form the hotel complex. All rooms are en suite and have satellite television, direct telephone, mini-bar, air conditioning and safe box. Most rooms have a balcony or terrace with unrivalled views over the Bay of Naples or the hotel's lush garden. Staying in one of the hotel's 22 suites, guests experience the maximum in luxury and comfort.
The most famous, the Suite, named after the famous tenor who occupied the room in 1921, boasts a large terrace with a sea view and is kept in the very same style as it was when the famous Italian tenor lodged here in 1921 and there are endless storics about his stay like the piano, the writing board, some letters and photographs.
The elegance and luxury that characterize this hotel is also reflected in the two restaurants, the Hotel (open all year) and the Terrace (open from May to October). Under the frescoed ceiling of the Hotel or facing Mount Vesuvius on the open-air 'Bosquet' terrace, your guests can experience the highest traditions and quality of Neapolitan cuisine.
The chef ensures that menus offering local produce from the land and sea will satisfy the most exigent of palettes. The menu changes four times per year according to the ingredients in season. In Summer, it includes, for example, Salted cod confit with toasted garlic and salmon roe, parsley sauce and green apple sorbet; King prawn carpaccio with squid ravioli and grilled octopus; Warm and cold tuna fish in black pepper crust with clams, cauliflower pure and Â olives.
In the park is located the new swimming pool restaurant, open from June to September, where guests can enjoy tasty and light meals, snacks and many creative recipes such as pizza, home-made pasta, typical local dishes, grilled fish and meat, salads and home-made ice-creams. The swimming pool & the holistic centre:
The swimming pool brings a touch of exotic in Sorrento. Located in the park, surrounded by olive, orange, lemon, palm and pine trees as well as amazing bougainvillea, the new swimming pool boasts a natural-coloured Trani marble and teak wood around the edge. The pool has got a water massage area, a sophisticated system for swimming against the flow, waterfalls for back massage and is the location for enjoyable aquagym lessons from June to September. The children's pool is located nearby as is the playground. The surrounding solarium is of about 200 sm and is the perfect location for intimate parties and jazz concerts in Summertime. â€¨In the pool area, the ruins of an antique Roman pool, found during the renovation works, are visible and protected by a railing. â€¨The whole project was developed by Colin Gold, British architect who created the Pompeii Suite and is also the author of the new Holistic centre.
Created in a converted XIX Century greenhouse, adjoining the hotel's swimming-pool, is surrounded by olive and orange trees and enjoys natural sunlight for most of the day. Featuring a 150 sq metre area, the centre has been built in compliance with bio-architecture (Feng-Shui) rules and with a holistic approach to human wellness where the balance of both body and soul are obtained thanks to exclusive and invigorating well-being rituals. It is composed of two separate treatment suites, a single one and a double one for couples. Each suite is fully equipped for the ultimate pampering: it has its own private changing room, Jacuzzi bath-tub, a rain shower and, according to the season or weather conditions, a private garden for outdoor relaxation. There is an additional room for manicure and pedicure and a single room for shiatsu massage and other treatments with private changing room.
The offer of the Holistic Centre is rich and satisfies any personal need. The exclusive Signature treatments with organic essential oils obtained from Mediterranean plants and flowers offer a complete sensation of wellness and harmony of the senses. These treatments include the Orange Garden and the Honeymoon Rituals, ideal for couples. The rituals for face, body, hands and feet are made with exclusive organic products. Beauty treatments and body rituals use the cosmetic products, rich of minerals, vitamins and natural elements of Salin de Biosel. â€¨The menu is various and include also the massages (such as Swedish, Lymphatic Drain, Aromatic, Shiatsu, etc), with natural essential oils.
