XI century Church
Charming and antique Church in Ravello
Santa Maria a Gradillo is a small and elegant Church dated back to the 11th century. Inside you can admire the Romanesque and Moorish design influence.
The Church is characterized by a three naves structure with three semi-circular apses. Very interesting is also the mosaic floor made by small white and grey stones representing a tree with panthers, today protected by transparent panels.
The Church has a central nave representing a fascinating fusion of the Byzantine world and the classical one. The bell tower is featured by a double lancet window decorated with multi coloured geometric shapes.
